Family Book Outlet, Book Warehouse, and Christian Book Warehouse have all been family-owned and operated by a Knoxville, Tennessee-based couple for over twenty years. In March 1987, the company opened its first store in a large 28,000 square foot building in Pigeon Forge under the name Book Warehouse. Due to the success at this location, a second store was opened in 1990 in the Pigeon Forge Factory Outlet Mall, followed by a Knoxville store in 1992, and a Gatlinburg store in 1993. Today, this family-operated business has grown to six stores, with locations in Sevier County, Bristol, Knoxville, and Maryville.

Each store location offers up to 50% to 80% off the retail price of its products to the consumer. The remaining product line of books, music, gifts, and cards are offered at no less than 5% off the published price.

How can this be? We purchase surplus book inventory from many popular publishers at reduced prices, so we can pass the discounted savings on to you!
